Building An Ohana

Family

In 2017, we got married and started our family. Not to say that we didn’t have our own mini version of a family before then. Everyone who knows us, knows about our first baby Niko (our freight train of a dog). We actually got married on what would have been his 10th birthday.

Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten

Babies and Dogs

Over the past years, our family has expanded. We got a dog, and then had two kids literally just a little under 2 years apart.

Everything but the Kitchen sink

Life isn’t perfect and my husband and I joke that we have had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at us. Our home represents the whole everything but the kitchen sink thrown at us. For example when we returned from our honeymoon, we had a caved in roof.

Our Beach House

We bought our home from family. My husband’s grandma lived in this house when she got older. Then it was used for a rental for allot of years. This home needed a lot of tender love and care. If we had known how much work was needed we would have probably taken the house down to the studs.

By the time we are done with this house, we’ll have touched every part of this house.

Behind the Name

I have an obsession with Lilo and Stitch and love Disney. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and that is ultimately were we want to end up when we can retire.

Come for the Ride

Welcome to our crazy life and even crazier home. Where we raise our overactive children, and do continuous renovations.
